I was born in Liverpool, England and did not have any formal training in Fine Art at the time I was first persuaded to commence selling my work commercially. However, since becoming a full-time artist I have had a continuous demand for my work for which I am very grateful.
I have had many exhibitions which have attracted private collectors from all over the world. My work has also been selected for many of the main London Exhibitions and can be seen on display at galleries throughout the U.K. and abroad.
I started off with pen and ink drawing and then graduated to flower paintings, particularly botanical studies as I am surrounded by beautiful flowers in my garden. I have had the pleasure to be presented with three medals from the Royal Horticultural Society for collections of work which has given me great joy. I then steadily spread my wings and developed a new range including seascapes, animal portraits, rural and urban scenes in ink, watercolour, oil and pastel.
I had always loved etching and decided to join the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative which is allied to the Ruskin College and it was there I learnt how to etch which I found beneficial in every way.
My Studio and workshop in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire is set in idyllic countryside and is always a great inspiration to me. I now have a large collection of limited edition etchings and limited edition prints which are all signed individually by myself. My work is also available at Covent Garden, London on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in the Apple Market.
